Aloha Friday #12

Each Friday, Kailani, over at http://www.islandlife808.com/ hosts a wonderful meme called Aloha Friday. It's the end of the week, a chance to relax and get ready for the weekend. To celebrate Aloha Friday, you ask a question and answer others' questions.

My question for this week:

How do your kids wake up in the morning? Do they have an alarm? Do you wake them? Do they just wake up on their own without an alarm?

My kids have been getting up with an alarm for years now.

Audrey :)

My are all teens and wake to their alarm clocks and the cat, who makes certain we are all up.

In the summer they seem to wake up on their own. They use alarm clocks for the school year. We didn't want them to get used to us waking them up and hoping they form habits on their own. We'll see. :)

My 3 year old is automatic. 7 am with the occasional 6:30am's. He just comes into our room and asks for us to put on MM! LOL!

My 8 year old is dreadful and hard to get out. If he NEEDS to get up he uses an alarm clock.

I use my cell phone as my alarm clock LOL

I would wake my kids for school but they woke on their own otherwise.

They wake up on their own. How cool is that? It's on time too at least for summer.

They don't have alarm clocks. School time I have to wake them up.

No kids yet. I have always woken up with an alarm though. I have never understood my friends who have their parents wake them. What will happen when they move out???

My kids wake up before I do although during the school year I might have to prod them along.

My son is 10 and we tried the alarm clock last year. He kept turning it off. So I'm not sure how we are going to do it this year. I may need to get out a bucket of water!

They have their own alarm clocks but almost always turn them off and go back to sleep. Then I have to go in and wake them up, only to have to resort to throwing water in their faces to make them jump out of bed.

Gotta have those alarms!

My son has an internal alarm. He gets up anywhere from 6-7am. The dogs get up around 4:30 with Hubby to start their days. I try to remain asleep for as long as possible. Never happens. Aloha and take care.

I have to wake my little man and he's not a pleasant morning person :o( He's very cranky in the morning no matter what time he goes to bed the night before.

I let my kids wake up on their own. If my oldest sleeps past nine, I do wake him though, or he won't go to bed at night.

my kiddo is just 3.5 so he wakes up when he feels like it, I figure he is young and should do it while he can, he is usually my alarm clock too

My kids wake up on their own. Sometimes with an alarm and sometimes without. Thank goodness...

My younger daughter usually wakes up first and will yell "Cocka-doodle-doo!" to wake everyone else up.

Well my daughter is only 6 months, so she wakes me up! :)

So far they are still little and they get up early all by themselves. My 6 year old now needs a boost in the mornings but only on some mornings.
