Each Friday, Kahlani, over at http://www.islandlife808.com/ hosts a wonderful meme called Aloha Friday. It's the end of the week, a chance to relax and get ready for the weekend. To celebrate Aloha Friday, you ask a question and answer other questions.
My question for this week:
Do you believe in immunizations? When I had my children almost no one refused. Today it seems more and more parents are refusing immunizations. What are your thoughts?

All my children, now well into their teens are completely immunized.
Yes, I firmly believe in immunizations. I did delay my little guy's a little. He had a febrile seizure just before he was one. Thanks to the high occurrence of fevers w/immunizations I was able to spread them out one by one. I had a horrible reaction to the MMR and made that the last one we did.
Yes I believe in getting children imminized. We had cases of Whooping Cough in my county in November and December last year.
I believe in certain immunizations. And I believe in spreading them out. my son's had them all but I made sure the big one that tends to lead to questions, MMR, I pushed to his 2 1/2 year check up rather than doing it at 2 years.
Yep, my kids are up to date & in fact my son had the chicken pox vaccine before it was mandatory. He had asthma as a baby due to being on a ventilator & immunizations are vital when you have problems.
I believe in immunizations but we did delay a few so we knew what the effects might be, etc.
Yes. There are a couple optional ones that I declined, but for the most part, yes.
i believe in the standard immunizations.. but not the newer ones!
Let's just say that the polio vaccine and a few others have made the world a better place for kids .

When I was a kid, my mom didn't get immunizations for us girls. I ended up getting whooping cough. I was only three, but I still remember it, so that influenced my decision to get my kids immunized. Plus, when I went to college, I had to get what seemed like a million shots!
That said, I don't begrudge anyone for not getting shots. Everyone has to do what they feel is right for their family, right?
Our personal choice was to immunize our children.
i believe in them. my mom drives me crazy and has insisted that we insist that the doctor not give our son more than 2 shots at a time... who knows if that'll mean anything. but why take the risk?
I believe in them. I had my son get all of the shots that were required for school. He also had the flu shot because of allergies.

Yes I believe in immunizations. My kids have had all the ones they are supposed to. They couldn't go to school otherwise. I don't know how people who don't get them send their kids to school, you have to show proof that they've had them. I always wondered about that.
I believe in the ones that are well known. When the chicken pox vaccine first came out, my mom didn't give it to my sister because not enough was known about it. Now everyone who did get it is having to get a booster etc
