Kailani over at http://islandlife808.com/ runs an Aloha Friday.
This is my 5th week participating and I love reading all the wonderful comments everyone leaves me.
My question for this week is:
Did you use disposable or cloth diapers? If you don't yet have children, what do you think you'll use one you have children?

We use cloth right now and we love it :)
We have always used disposable!
With our oldest we used a cloth diapering service. The twinks were too small and we stuck with disposable.
I use disposables with my littlest two. I used cloth for a year with my oldest but the disposables are just too convenient and I know my limits... I need convenience.
Disposable. I've thought about trying cloth, but with twins it's a little overwhelming.
I started out using cloth but ended up using disposable ones.
I use disposable diapers!
I can't imagine using cloth diapers. I think I will definitely use disposable.
we use disposable!
Disposable, all the way. I know it's bad for the environment, but...I do empty them out before I put them in the trash! lOL
I used disposable mostly because it'm more sanitary for your baby.

Disposable mainly because doing otherwise when living in an apartment (when my oldest was a baby) would have been tough.
I used disposable with my first child, and cloth with my second. If I ever have another baby, I'll stick with cloth. I'd never go back!!
THat's funny...this was almost my question!
Right now we are using disposable, but I have thought about using cloth, but we still have bags of disposables from our pampers poker party...I need to look into cloth though!
What do you use?
i'm bad and lazy... i use disposable...
My kids have been potty trained for some time now and I always used disposables.
I used disposables. However, there are so many great cloth diaper designs now that if we had any more babies I would probably go that route.
Disposable - cloth I tried but it was too much work!
I thought I was going to use cloth, but I ended up using disposable.
I used both for my children, and now they have so much more available.
I wish I could say that I use cloth, or at the very least G flushable diapers, but I don't. I go with what is easiest and cheapest - disposables.
disposable. i can't imagine using cloth
sorry - i used disposable diapers. and i didnt breast feed either. shoot me! :)
When my kiddo was little I used disposable.
I've always used disposable diapers with my son but I'm seriously considering using reusable or more earth friendly diapers for the next one. Reusable diapers would certainly save us a bunch of money.
Disposable. I was wrecking the environment, for sure, but made a conscious decision to choose convenience over the environment. Now, all these years later, I wonder why I was trying to save time...
I used disposable. I know its not good but that's what we did:)
I used both with all of my kids. Cloth at home and disposible when we went out.
With my twins, we actually used g diapers and I LOVE them.
OK, I'll admit it. I'm a disposable gal, too. BTW, please don't forget Sx3 today...love is in the air!
i think @ the beginning of my parenting journey i had great aspirations of homemade baby food and cloth diapers...just like i had thoughts of a natural child birth.
until labour started.
so disposable it was:)
andy
p.s. but i DID breastfeed all three. my boobs might look like tennis balls in tube socks, but dammit i still did it!
p.p.s. thanks for coming by, nice to see some new faces:)
I didn't use them with my children. I still remember the ones my younger brother had. By the time my next brother came along they were disposable.
One of my best friends is using them with her youngest child. The cloth diapers are completely different than they used to be. Pretty cool, actually. But I would still never use them. They are a PAIN. I hate it when I watch her kids and she doesn't leave any disposable diapers. I don't like dealing with the cloth ones. I just like to throw all that icky stuff away, personally. But the cloth diapers did help her baby with diaper rash issues that she was having. And she's probably saving a couple hundred dollars in the long run. Although, the cloth diapers are pretty pricey, too.
