My kids, ages 4-11 listen to music. They have a fairly broad range of taste. We have a lot of different "church" music, hymns and such. Additionally, because of the kids' piano lessons, they like different types of classical music as well as pop music. Of their own accord, they seem to like Taylor Swift, Miley Sirrus (spelling?) and some things with a dance beat. I don't actually buy them music, except for their Suzuki CDs, so they, with permission, can sometimes listen to music online or when we are driving in the car on the radio.
My three oldest (17, 13, 4) listen to music. Their tastes are all different, so we have a good variety going on here.
We listen to music and have with our kids since they were born. They all love to dance :D
My daughter's both listened to music since day one. My oldest daughter loved Jack Johnson's soundtrack to Curious George. My youngest 99 months) loves music. She is beginning to dance when she hears a song she likes (bobs up and down).
My 10 month old LOVES music. The minute she hears music, weather from the computer, the TV, the radio, she automatically turns towards it. She was like this from about 3 months old.
They sure do! I have a music cd of nursery rhymes in the car and then there is what my hubby and I listen too and it's a wide range.
My kids listen to classical and country and some oldies from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. They never listen to pop, rap, or other modern stuff. They're homeschooled so they're not even exposed to it and that's the way we want it.
My kids, especially the oldest have always loved music, since they were really young.
My son is 3 and doesn't have him own music. He just listens to mine. His favorite song is Viva La Vida from Coldplay.
My kids listened to music from the womb and still do to this day.
music rules here! we all have an eclectic mix of favorites. mine are 8 and 13.
They listen to pretty much whatever I'm listening to . . . providing the language is edited. :-)
