On your childs next birthday, have them save all of their greeting cards. Now take those cards and arrange them on a sheet of construction paper. Take the paper to your local Kinkos and laminate. Your child now has a very personal place mat for the dinner table.

I love, Love, LOVE this idea! We have stacks of card that I hate to throw away because someone cared enough to give it. But what to do with them? So they just sat -- in stacks, in boxes, or sticking out of half-finished scrapbooks. I will definitely be putting this one into action!

I did this one year with all the pictures people send for Christmas.
