Live Birth On the Internet

I was just reading about a woman who plans to telecast live the birth of her baby. She is 23 years old, a teacher and believes she can use the birth as a teaching experience for others.

As a parent, I'm not sure this is something I would want my children to view, meaning I would want the site showing this to clearly be marked "adult content"

What do you think?

I don't think I am a big fan of tweeting, live broadcasting etc through births. It just seems weird to me!

I agree with you ... 'adult content' definitely! Yikes! Thanks for stopping by and commenting the other day!

Adult content. Not because of the parts of the body shown ... but ... something about birthing a human being is sacred to me. And even though it is something that most people experience I'm just not one of those people who wants to open it up for world wide viewing. It could scare or confuse children depending on how it is shown.

Heatherlyn, the mom to be actually said no cameras will show body parts at all. I just think that the birth of a child is not something for children to view. Also, there is no way to predict if the birth will be natural, if they'll need to do a C section, if the baby will come easily etc. Way too much for a child to be involved in and viewing.
